About the Event

Do you have a great idea - but can’t afford the resources to fully develop it yourself? You are not alone - innovation requires a lot of resources for success! One time-tested way to bring in money are license agreements. They also help you de-risk your project, they can lock in customers, and they can even make your idea better! No wonder licenses were crucial in the growth of many big and small companies. In this 90-minute workshop you'll learn everything you need to know for your first steps, which mistakes to avoid, and aspects that any license agreement must cover. For example:

-How much money can I ask for?
-If I license out my idea, can I still use it?
-How do I find the right licensee?
-What is a ‚license package‘?

The workshop will be held in English, and important expressions will be given in German, too. You will receive the slide set for later reference, which contains working links to several useful databases to help you take the right decisions.

Important: the workshop is useful if you produce/manufacture something or provide a service. We will NOT talk about SOFTWARE LICENSES or SAAS!
