A calming, therapeutic & creative mosaic experience, Tiles & Tales is an original artist-led workshop created by Roba Jabeen, founder of Glow & Patterns.

Established for 2+ years, Tiles & Tales grew from Roba’s personal journey with mosaic as a form of creativity, healing, expression and storytelling and has been bringing people together in Düsseldorf to learn real mosaic art, slow down, connect and create something truly personal.

This is more than a quick DIY activity. You’ll learn the real process of mosaic-making, from choosing colours and creating patterns to cutting, arranging, gluing, grouting and finishing your own artwork.

Along the way, you’ll discover how slow, tactile and meditative mosaic-making can be. 🌸

• 🛠️ All Materials & Tools Include: Choose from mosaic bases such as trays, coasters, teapots and more, with 50+ tile varieties, adhesive, grout, gloves and tools.
• 😊 No experience needed: Just bring your curiosity, creativity and a big smile.
• 🎨 Design Support & Artist Guidance: Personal, step-by-step support with colours, patterns, design and the complete mosaic process.
• 🏡 Your Finished Artwork + Skills to Continu: Take home your completed mosaic and the knowledge to continue creating at home.

⚠️ Important note:
The workshop is designed so that a mosaic piece of approximately 15–20 cm can be completed within 3 hours. For larger pieces, please plan for at least 5 hours, additional materials and extra costs.
