SixTurnsNine

Minimal Non-Pop steht in großen Lettern auf den Fahnen von SixTurnsNine. Der ureigene musikalische Cocktail des Trios aus dem Rheinland ist der perfekte Soundtrack für Musikverrückte, die Licht und Leichtigkeit lieben, aber auch die Dunkelheit kennen.

Drumloops wie aus der goldenen Ära des Trip-Hop und eindringliche, auf das Wesentliche reduzierte, Basslinien gehen Hand in Hand mit Vintage-Keyboards, die Erinnerungen an die große Zeit des Proto-Goth wecken. All das trägt wundervoll warmen und bluesigen weiblichen Gesang, der mühelos und stets authentisch zwischen großer Theatralik, absoluter Herzenswärme, Zerbrechlichkeit und lässigen Hippie-Vibes pendelt. So entsteht ein einzigartiger Kosmos, der Freunde von Massive Attack und Portishead ebenso in seinen Bann ziehen kann wie Fans von Siouxsie oder Joy Division.

Anja Valpiani (Gesang), Lutz Bauer (Keys, Electronics) und Philip Akoto (Bass) haben sich 2016 gefunden und sind seitdem deutschlandweit in Clubs und auf Festivals unterwegs. Im Tsunami-Club präsentiert die Band ihr aktuelles Album "Borders".
