About the Event

THE MOON IS NO DOOR
Indie Rock, Experimental, Psych Rock
The Moon Is No Door spielen eine ausdrucksstarke psychedelische Live-Show.

JUNE CALLS

THE MOON IS NO DOOR
Indie Rock, Experimental, Psych Rock
The five-piece band The Moon Is No Door captivates audiences with its krauty, rocking, haunting sound: Their output is an amalgam of indie pop, along with harder, edgier sounds. The texts and fictional dialogues – becoming ever more relevant in the present day – are based on literary still lifes by the New Zealand-British author Katherine Mansfield. The band is made up of Stepha Schweiger on vocals, synthesizer and keyboards, Robert Pepe Pöschl (Robert Forster, Kim Foley, Walter Salas-Humara) on electric bass, Adam Goodwin on double bass, Franz Bargmann (Michael Rother plays NEU!) on electric guitar and Mäx Huber (Walter Salas-Humara, Kim Foley) on drums.
Their debut album ‘Tiny Moment’ – with a release date of August 26, 2022 on L’ST records Berlin | Broken Silence Hamburg – was mixed by Dirk Dresselhaus (Schneider TM), who can also be heard on the album playing his “processed” electric guitar, along with Ulrich Krieger (Lou Reed) on saxophone.
The Moon Is No Door promise a highly expressive, psychedelic live show.

JUNE CALLS
The indie band June Calls started in 2020 with cover videos on Youtube. However, it wasn't long before they released their first single "High Tides" in the spring of 2021 - characterized by 80's synthesizers and floating guitar sounds. In December of the same year, the second single "The Sound" followed. Immediately into the VW bus and off to the sea. In the spring of 2022, the band was awarded the Freising Youth Culture Prize. Now the five young musicians are working on their debut EP and are in the process of developing their very own sound. Be there when they bring summer to the clubs and stages of the city.
