The Durgas Unveil Highly Anticipated Europe Summer Tour 2024
Los Angeles, April 01, 2024 – The Durgas, globe-trotting indie rock band celebrated
for their electrifying performances and genre defying sound, have officially announced
their summer Europe tour. Kicking off in Budapest, Hungary with their first show on
June 8, 2024, the tour will traverse across Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, France
and will pass through Italy on their way back to Hungary, wrapping the tour with a final
show in Budapest.

With an eclectic repertoire spanning from soul-stirring ballads to high-octane anthems,
The Durgas promise to deliver an energetic and immersive live experience at each
show. "We're excited to be planning another summer tour, we have been developing
new songs for our upcoming album that we plan to record in the Fall, can’t wait to
finally play them live — our songs fuse when we develop them on tour, the raw energy
is so important for locking in our signature sound” says lead singer Benjii
Simmersbach. Known for their captivating stage presence and unwavering dedication
to keeping the show on the road, The Durgas have garnered a devoted following
across Europe and beyond. Their ability to seamlessly fuse elements of rock, folk, and
reggae has earned them critical acclaim and solidified their position as trailblazers in
the indie music scene, ever since their punk days in San Francisco based band
A Subtle Plague.” After a challenging year, we're eager to get back on the road and

The summer tour will not only showcase The Durgas' new material, but will feature
members of their other US based band Five Pound Horse, offering fans an exclusive
sneak peek into their creative evolution. Five Pound Horse is a musical project
featuring members of The Durgas and Karl Mullen of Pittsburgh’s legendary punk band
Carsickness. "We can't wait to unveil some exciting changes in our lineup this tour,"
adds bassist Katy J “more women on stage than ever before!” This tour will feature
new members of the band including LA based drummer Wendy Heimann and
renowned Tuscon violinist Beth Daunis.
