Über Kathrin:

Die Harfenistin und Komponistin Kathrin Pechlof arbeitet an der Schnittstelle von improvisierter und komponierter Musik und zeitgenössischem Jazz. Ihre künstlerische Praxis speist sich aus einer Vielzahl musikalischer Ressourcen. Sie verwendet ein breites Spektrum erweiterter Spieltechniken, um ihre einzigartige instrumentale Ausdrucksform weiterzuentwickeln. Als Komponistin forscht sie an Konzepten und musikalischen Möglichkeiten an der Schnittstelle von komponierten Strukturen und Improvisation, als Instrumentalistin hat sie sich in vielfältigen kollaborativen Kontexten zeitgenössischer kreativer Musik etabliert.
