Delphine Joussein

On this night, the release date of her new solo album ‘Calamity’, French flute player Delphine Joussein (NOUT, BOOLVAR, Fire! Orchestra, SAUVAGES PARADIS) crashes onto our stage. Far from the angelic imagination to which this instrument is often attached, the flute is pushed back to its last entrenchments. Electronics, voice, mouth effects, percussion, everything goes through the pipe. Ferocious duels between frenzy and introspection, organic and electric, acoustic and amplified, all supported by solid riffs, played live. A scenario punctuated with twists, with the leitmotif of creative surprise and never limiting the sound’s potential.

‘The music/sound she was creating struck me as the accompanying soundtrack to the moments before the end of the world. If Joussein had a band, it would no doubt have featured the four horsemen of the apocalypse. The depth of sound was immense, there was barely any recognizable flute playing even though every sound we heard came from her instrument. We were hit by layers and layers of electronic sound, a combination of huge bass notes that you could feel thumping through the floor, rippling echoplexed phrases and assorted feedback with occasional contorted screaming vocals.’ - Tim Dickeson

Enid Valu

Enid Valu has been documenting with her camera for over 20 years, starting in the States and now abroad in Europe. She played bass and keys along with vocals in the shoegaze dreampop band Cement Stars in the 2010s, opening for Toro y Moi, Mr. Twin Sister, Memoryhouse and Autolux to name a few. Recently getting behind the mic again, guesting with The Notwist, Julien Gasc, Embryo, Nathaniel Russell, Hochzeitskapelle, and Ada & The Alien Orchestra. Now she tries something new on her own.

Anton Kaun

Anton Kaun is a video and noise artist who has been producing live audiovisual performances under the pseudonym Rumpeln for over 20 years. Electronic sounds, bodies and videos, all exposed to the same excessive strategy, always balancing between brutality and awkwardness – persistent, unforgiving, raging, aggressive, but always cathartic. His DJ sets are always a pleasant surprise.
