About the Event

Nur Streichquartett reicht uns nicht: Unserer Jahresabschluss kommt mit Video, Tanz, Live-Elektronik und einer Raumgestaltung daher. Eine multimediale Uraufführung eines Auftragswerks von PULSE an die aus Japan stammende in Bremen lebende Komponistin Reika Hattori steht im Zentrum. Von Ohr bis Fuß und alles dazwischen: Bei Lucy Kilgers Quify tanzt Ria Rehfuß aus Freiburg mit. Und bei Bryce Dessner’s Aheym könnte eigentlich das Publikum mittanzen: Ein solider 5-Vierteltakt zieht sich durch das gesamte Stück. David Lang’s almost never was bildet mit verträumt-romantischen Klänge einen Gegenpol. Das Konzert findet statt in einer Raumgestaltung von Hassan Shaidaei.
