Originating from the vibrant streets of Algiers, Labess—meaning "all is well" in Arabic—embodies a rich tapestry of musical influences. Founded by the talented Nedjim Bouizzoul, the group seamlessly blends genres such as chaâbi, rumba, and flamenco, creating a sound that is both unique and universally resonant. Their lyrics, delivered in Algerian Arabic, French, and Spanish, narrate stories of exile, identity, and the human experience. Gnawa Diffusion

Formed in 1992 in Grenoble, France, Gnawa Diffusion stands as a pillar of musical and political expression. Led by the charismatic Amazigh Kateb, son of renowned Algerian writer Kateb Yacine, the band fuses traditional Gnawa music with reggae, rock, and jazz elements. Their multilingual lyrics—spanning Algerian Arabic, Tamazight, French, and English—address themes of social justice, cultural identity, and political activism.
