About the Event

Performing Arts Festival Berlin 2023

Kartografie der Nähe
Kollektiv Zwischenraum

ENGLISCH:
A preparatory workshop for the play will be held on 2nd of June at 4.30 pm
Touch is a fundamental sense of human beings. It helps us to orient ourselves in the world and to define our place in it. It creates trust, warmth and intimacy and does not only tell us something about our counterpart, but also about us and the world in which we live. Using dance and acrobatics, the performers ask themselves what ultimately happens when we no longer give each other the gift of touch. Kartografie der Nähe is a contemporary circus performance that tells a moving story about what it is that makes us human.
