About the Event

Die deutsche Melodic Death Metal Band IRA TENAX hat seit ihrer Gründung
1999 nach einer Demo CD 2006 den ersten Longplayer „Trapped“
veröffentlicht, welcher sehr gute Kritiken bekam und als Geheimtipp
gilt. Es folgten unzählige Liveshows in ganz Deutschland, unter anderem
als Vorband für Sodom, Tankard, Majesty.

Der Musikstil von IRA TENAX zeichnet sich auf dem neuen Album „Portrait
Of The Fallen“ zum einen durch aggressive Gitarrenriffs, gepaart mit
einprägsamen Melodien und einem treibenden Schlagzeug, zum anderen durch
den abwechslungsreichen und aussagekräftigen Gesang aus. Man gibt sich nicht mit dem herkömmlichen für Deathmetal typischen Growling zufrieden, sondern melodiöse Gesangsparts werden ebenso wie Shouteinlagen systematisch in das Songwriting mit eingebaut.
IRA TENAX bietet dem Hörer zwar ein breites Spektrum, doch ist die
typische und individuelle Art der Musik klar definiert und sucht
seinesgleichen.
