Espresso Arabica is a comedy show that brews two unique blends of coffee & humour:

the smooth Italian charm & the unfiltered Syrian edge.

The two Berlin based comedians Tommy & Aladdin share a mediterrenean culture of love for coffee, olive oil and their moms.

Just like coffee, their humours can be sometimes unfiltered. Therefore, this show is a work-in progress presenting their freshly brewed material.

About us:

Tommaso Ferrari is an Italian stand-up comedian based in Berlin. Over the past two years, he has performed across Europe, headlining shows in Hamburg and appearing in showcases in Barcelona, as well as performing at Fusion Festival and beating the gong at Up The Creek in London.

For the past year, he has co-produced and co-hosted a weekly open mic with Halunke Comedy Salon and is the co-creator and host of the monthly sold-out show Espresso Arabica. With a playful style and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan, his humour is as comforting as a bowl of pasta al ragù paired with a glass of vino della casa.

Aladdin Alghafri (yes, like the Disney one) is a Berlin-based comedian from Damascus.

Since escaping syrian dictatorship to be an engineer at Deutsche Bahn wasn't funny enough - he turned to stand-up. While being a regular on Berlin’s comedy stages, he co-founded Halunke Comedy Salon, where he co-runs his weekly shows. He opened for famous comedians such as Shahak Shapira, perforemed at Fusion Festival and he recently won the Grandslam Comedy Contest in Hamburg.

With an innocent face and a disarming smile, Aladdin dives into the absurd truths behind Arab and German stereotypes — sharp, dark, and weirdly relatable for both locals and Ausländer.
