Benboo (Bouthaina Nabouli & Benjemy):
Born from the collaboration between Bouthaina Nabouli, with her deep, raspy voice rooted in classical Arabic tradition, and Benjemy, a DJ and producer in the electronic music scene, BENBOO has developed an eclectic style. Their music blends classical songs and covers of 20th-century Arab divas with contemporary rhythms, all infused into a festive, percussive electronic sound, without boundaries or compromises. The duo alternates between vocals, percussion, lute, and electronic machines, delivering a repertoire that transcends eras and offers a fusion of Arabic music with a fresh dancefloor spirit.
Mosaic Band:
born from the Zarda Festival as Sara & the Boys, Mosaic is a band based in Munich, Germany, combining Swana music flavors. Led by Sara Bustany from Lebanon, with Rafik Kamel and Peter Naguib from Egypt on guitar and keyboard, Aziz Ben Slimen from Tunisia on oud, and Karim Abbes on percussion. Their music blends soulful vocals, guitar melodies, and the sounds of keyboard, oud, and percussion. From heartfelt ballads to lively folk tunes, they celebrate Swana music’s diversity.
