BEWITCHER // SUPPORT: BATTLESWORD

Since their formation in early 2013, BEWITCHER has seen their signature “Black Magick Metal” sound go from humble beginnings to new heights of creativity and wild anthemic fervor. A small collection of long out-of-print demo tapes kicked off what has proven to be an enduring line of ripping studio albums, singles and EPs.
They have become notorious as one of the hardest working touring acts around, bringing their volcanic, high energy stage shows to every corner of North America and parts abroad.
Now, as the band reaches another crucial milestone, they are taking a moment to look back on a decade of diabolic speed and sorcery. Their latest offering, ”Deep Cuts & Shallow Graves: Ten Years of Black Leather, Black Magic & White Hot Fucking Steel“ is a massive 17-track compilation of BEWITCHER’s original demo recordings, rare and previously unreleased material, as well as two brand new studio tracks. Released in all formats including a stacked double LP version, it is an homage and testament to the history of a new rising force in the heavy metal universe.

Battlesword – Melodic Death Metal vom Niederrhein, der seit 1999 überzeugt.
Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1999 haben Battlesword das Banner des Melodic Death Metal hochgehalten. Mit einer Mischung aus kraftvollen Melodien und aggressiven Riffs hat sich die Band einen soliden Platz in der Szene erarbeitet. Live sind Battlesword national sowieVinternational vertreten, wie zum Beispiel auf dem Tolminator Festival in Slowenien oder dem Aaargh Festival in Baden-Württemberg.
2019 feierten Battlesword ihr 20-jähriges Band Jubiläum und würdigten dies mit ihrem dritten Album „…And Death Cometh Upon Us“. Zwei Jahre später folgte das Album „Towards The Unknown“ über MDD-Records, das mit seinen eingängigen Melodien und markanten Rhythmen erneut auch international Anerkennung fand.
2024 können Battlesword auf mittlerweile 25 Jahre Bandgeschichte zurückblicken und haben auch zu diesem Jubiläum ein neues Album im Gepäck. Und mit dem Tilel „(XX)V - Of Tales And Tragedies“ deutet die Band genau das an - 25 Jahre Bandbestehen und der Release des fünften Studio Albums, welches im September 2024 erneut über MDD-Records veröffentlicht wurde.
Somit bleibt Battlesword weiterhin ein fester Bestandteil der Melodic Death Metal-Szene – mit neuen Songs, die sicher auch bei den kommenden Shows für reichlich Bewegung und
Nackenschmerzen sorgen werden.
