AOHXT presents their first indoor festival opening the summer season. With an extraordinary line up which showcases the variety of Techno & House. It’s the first time ever that a techno room will be played entirely b2b in cologne with only headliners complemented with two marvellous live acts. Therefore we’ll bring you a heavyweight line up which perfects the art of electronic music.

The modular mastermind Colin Benders, well known for his outstanding live performances will deliver his matchless sound spectrum for his cologne debut. With their experience, long time Berghain residents Efdemin & Dj Pete aka Substance have build an impressive legacy on their way. DJ Pete aka Substance started his career in the late 80s and joined the most iconic electronic music record shop HARDWAX in 1991. From a night, where DJ Pete is playing you can expect that he’ll deliver true sound innovations on any level with an intuitively feeling for the crowd. Efdemin is one of the most influential electronic music composers of this time. His musical pieces can be described with some touches of darkness and beautiful catching synth lines that makes his sound remarkable.

He covers the whole spectrum of Techno to Ambient and effortlessly connects a lot of different styles and genres.

SHXCXCHCXSH even though their name might seem complicated, it’s very easy to vibe with their art of creating complex and abstract rhythms combining floating and melancholic melodies. This is a style that the Swedish duo does in perfection. With releases on AVIAN and MORD just to name a few, they’ve created a big reputation over the last years in the scene. If you are in to Techno you definitely have heard about Pole group, therefore we’ve invited two of the key players of the label.
 

Lewis Fautzi who’s also running his own label called Faut Section, is releasing artist like Oscar Mulero on it. He knows how to hypnotise crowds all over the world with his skills. For the first time ever he will perform with Conceptual. His last release is an unbelievable intelligent production, implementing different styles from broken beat to ambient, straight 4/4 kicks and white noise sounds.
 

Alienata who’s running the label Discos Atonicos just recently played her first Klubnacht at Berghain. She will be playing together with Bloody Mary who’s running the label Dame music. In their HÖR sets you can see how good they act together combing different styles and mixing genres from EBM, Electro to straight forward Techno.

Last but not least the legend himself the former Underground Resistance and Berghain resident Rolando who created one most famous releases in the history of electronic music. His song Knights of the Jaguar that reached over 2.1 million views on YouTube is an impressive and inspiring piece. He will be joining forces with Fabian Stange who is playing his comeback. ND_Baumecker the Berghain / Panorama Bar resident is part of the founding music history of this infamous Venue. His knowledge about electronic music mirrors his style of grooving melodies and soulful classics.
 

Founder of one of the most iconic electronic music venues world wide called Robert Johnson, Ata has build up an undistinguished sound that refers to the loving and fascinating rave times of the 90s. There aren’t many people who have build up such a legacy as him.

The Hamburg based DJ L.F.T who often plays b2b sets with Helena Hauff is a resident at the Georgian KHIDI. His musical style is a combination of Electro, broken beats, Neue Deutsche Welle and experimental tunes.
 

The support for this night will be by Lia and Kurt Thieme. Lia the new resident of the AOHXT is a Berlin director and DJ who claimed a lot of respect in the scene with her documentary (Techno, House, Deutschland) that was published by German national television ARD. Nevertheless Kurt Thieme founder behind this project is a German DJ / producer. He played sets all over the world from UK, Spain, to South Africa to the famous burning man festival in the USA.
